PLANT THE SEEDS project started in 2008 to help build and support nurseries, kindergartens, and clinics in the Rason region of North Korea. IGNIS Community has provided education and medical facilities as well as launching the “Lunchbox” program with the purpose of supplying lunch daily for the children in these nurseries and kindergartens.

Since then, we have continued our aid work in this region, currently assisting 16 nurseries and kindergartens as well as 6 rural clinics. That is an approximate of 600 children and 80 teachers in total!

HOW CAN WE MAKE SURE THE ITEMS ARE DELIVERED?

IGNIS Community verifies all the item distribution as our field workers personally purchase and deliver them on site. By visiting these sites, we are able to foster healthy, trusting relationships with the communities.

How can I help?

We believe that reconciliation can only happen through planting the seeds of love, relationship, and of the future. Our goal is to serve both the physical and educational needs of the North Korean children.
