A teacher from the kindergarten where our Children’s Day sneakers were distributed told us:

“Parents know that the shoes are of good quality and because they thought they wouldn’t be able to get them once their children graduate from kindergarten and move on to primary school, they deliberately asked for bigger sizes for their children to wear in their new schools.”

Dear friends, I hope that as you read the above comment from the teacher you are warmed that our gift last year to the children was much cherished by teachers and parents alike who said they were “lightweight and convenient”.

While we are so thankful, it’s a pity that some children had to run around with bigger-sized shoes which may pose a danger too. So, it is our team’s desire to do more and reach the older children up to 8 years old.

지난해 어린이날, 우리가 북녘의 유치원 아이들에게 전한 운동화에 대해 한 선생님께서 들려주신 말씀이 있습니다.
