Because of the border closures, the Planting Seeds (humanitarian team) team has been focusing on the Jubilee Project which aims to feed more kindergarten and preschool aged children. In addition to the 1,000 kids that we have been serving in Rason, North Korea, this last decade, 2,000 additional kids have been added in this area for a total of 3,000 kids attending thirty-five different schools. 15 tons of rice was bought and delivered in Rason for June and September for a total of 30 tons of rice. A total of 1,200 tons of coal was acquired in Rason in June, July, and October for the heating of some of our kindergartens and preschool facilities.
As you all know, winter has already approached and will only get colder. We plan on doing more but need your help! If you’d like to donate, please visit our donation page at: https://give.igniscommunity.org/jubileeproject
